We offer 2 x Beginner Adult classes at TBDA, (Hip Hop and Ballet), suitable for adults with no previous dance experience, wishing to learn to dance, all ages welcome.
Tanya Brooks Dance Academy celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2024, established in 1994 and it has grown to become a highly successful and popular dance school with over 160 students attending dance classes each week.
Classes are run five days a week in a modern and spacious dance studio at West Epping Park Community Hall, cnr of Downing St and Dent St, Epping NSW (near Carlingford). Our Hip Hop and Jazz classes are held nearby at West Epping Uniting Church Hall, cnr Orchard St and Carlingford Rd, Epping NSW.
Tanya Brooks Dance Academy offers a wide variety of dance classes for children, both girls and boys, from the tender age of 3 years old. Classes are held during the school terms. Ballet exams are held mid year and the end of year is focused towards an “Annual Concert” involving the entire Academy. Costumes for the annual concert are hired to the students at a minimal fee.
Ballet exams are not compulsory but are strongly encouraged. In May 2024 a select number Tanya Brooks Dance Academy ballet students took their RAD Ballet Examination and Class Award Examinations with us, the average mark received was 73%, with students receiving either a Merit, High Merit, Distinction or High Distinction (which is a score of 85% or higher – the highest award possible).
All teachers at TBDA have been screened and have a valid and current Working with Children Check.
